Ricky from Twinfinite writes; "With the news of Xbox Entertainment Studios closure earlier today, the question has been raised on whether or not Remedy's Quantum Break, and its famously ambitious live action television/gameplay hybrid of storytelling, would be affected by the change. Microsoft, curiously, has declined to respond."

Airtight Next in a Long Line of Game Studio Closures: Are We on the Verge of a Major Creative Slump?

Added: 07.07.2014 0:13 | 12 views | 0 comments

8CN: Airtight Games closed just weeks after releasing their last title, Murdered: Soul Suspect to lackluster reviews. Over the course of four years Airtight released three major PC and Console games and a few mobile offerings. Their best reviewed effort, Quantum Conundrum, benefited greatly from the presence of Portal developer Kim Swift. Their first offering Dark Void was pretty much what it looked like on the box, a generic shooter with about an hour's worth of cool jet-pack shit. Their story is a reminder of the risk and hardship of game development and the shrinking environment in which top end games are developed.

Quantum Rush- Champions Looks to Recreate that WipeOut Experience

Added: 05.07.2014 5:13 | 7 views | 0 comments

Carl Williams writes, "Wipeout, and some of the sequels, were quite the experience in gaming. When the original hit the Playstation, that made a lot of fans look at Sega in a what do you have light and when nothing comparable appeared, those fans went with Sony in large chunks. Beyond: Two Storywriters

Without meaning to sound too harsh to David, famous for titles such as Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, there are still reasons as to why this just simply needs to be said. David Cage cannot write. Well he can write, just not well. What I mean by this, is his stories are riddled with more plot holes than a fishing net. Seeing as he writes and directs interactive dramas that need to rely on their story, David Cage has a talent for ruining them. However Telltale Games, which is a much more smaller company than David Cages Quantic Dream manages to actually push out good games such as The Walking Dead. There are many things to run through, such as how Telltale grew, some of David Cages past work and how Telltale Games writing rivals up with David Cages.
