The Remember Me Theory: Part 1 - Pixels for Breakfast

Added: 22.08.2013 8:20 | 1 views | 0 comments

Pixels for Breakfast writes: I found myself disappointed and partly infuriated with Capcoms recent release, the sci-fi adventure Remember Me. The controls were sloppy, textures popped in and out and the actual combat (whilst interesting to a point) just didnt have the same weight behind it compared to, say, Batman: Arkham City (of which developers Dontnod Entertainment did seem to take a few cues from). That lack of basic polish let it down big time, to the point that I just gave up on it.

EA partnership will be revealed at Gamescom on Tuesday, sources allege.
Remember Phil Spencer referring to "Europe's biggest franchise" during a discussion of unannounced Xbox One exclusives? He may have been referring to FIFA, which certainly makes the cut from a sales perspective. MCV reports that the manufacturer will announce an exclusive FIFA 14 Xbox One bundle at Gamescom tomorrow.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Remember Me | SheAttack

SheAttack:"After seeing the trailer for Remember Me at New York City Comic Con (NYCC) 2012, I was intrigued to say the least. At the expense of appearing biased, I couldnt wait to experience a female protagonist of African ancestry kicking some ass. From the trailer, Nilin seemed like a awesome character that had a cool story, plus she did something totally different than simply shooting at random enemies. She had the ability to alter and manipulate human memories. However, after getting my hands on this title, Ive realized that where this game succeeds in ambition, it counteracts with the many flaws found in the overall gameplay experience. Remember Me is a great game that has struggled to be set free. The following is my review of the game that had much potential that was not realized."

Added: 18.08.2013 5:21 | 2 views | 0 comments

MediaStinger: "Remember Me is a good game that Im glad I played; however, I cant help but feel that it could have been so much more. The potential of the idea and visuals presents so much opportunity, yet it never even comes close to reaching its full potential on either a technical or narrative level."

State of Decay Review - VGU

Added: 18.08.2013 4:18 | 16 views | 0 comments

Remember a few years about when everything was about vampires. We had Twilight, True Blood, and The Vampire Diaries dominating the entertainment industry. Strangely this vampire fanaticism never really made it into the video games industry, probably because games had already burnt out on vampires around the Blade era with Bloodrayne and the Vampire: The Masquerade series. Now it turns out that vampires, unlike diamonds, were not forever as zombies are the new top dog. Not just any zombies though, gritty drama-causing zombies have spread out from The Walking Dead and infected all aspects of zombie entertainment.
