Remember Me Review | Warp Zoned

Warp Zoned writes:
"Remember Me, developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Capcom, snuck up on me earlier this month. Its a third-person action-adventure game which relies heavily on melee combat. From the outset, it seemed to be the full package, with stunning visuals, a fascinating female lead character, and a compelling story. But is it a game worth remembering, or a game youd rather soon forget?"

From eGamer, "Remember Me is a game that succeeds in parts and fails in others, which is quite a tragedy for such a promising new IP. But within its failures, there are some shining examples of good storytelling and interesting character development that are stunted by a misguided jack of all trades approach to overall game design. This is quite the pity as will be explained. Remember Me weaves a deep cyberpunk tale that covers all the basics of the genre, but doesnt dare to go as far as possible and tread new territory within the sprawl of cyberpunk and Sci-Fi".

Jon of RealGamerNewz writes, "Final Verdict- Overall Remember Me deserves to be applauded for bringing a fresh flavor to the game industry. This title is perhaps one of the most underrated New IPs out there and Dontnod Entertainment has introduced a great storytelling immersion that encourages you to master all aspects of gameplay. Overall Remember Me earns an 8.75 out of 10 from RealGamerNewz and we hope to see more of Dontnods creative side and are really excited as a team to see the next story they tell through their games."

Remember Warrior's Lair? No? That's probably because it was announced a good two years ago as "Ruin" when Sony first unveiled the PS Vita.
The game was touted to be one of Sony's exciting new titles that took advantage of the PS3/Vita Cross-Play feature, but that's not happening anymore, as the game has officially been axed.

Tynan Muddle at Aussie-Gamer.com writes: "Technology has become a major cornerstone of our existence in the 21st Century and Capcoms Remember Me gives us a glimpse of a horrific future that may just result from our reliance on silicon.
Set in the year 2084, Remember Me tells the story of a world where the Sensation Engine Sensen as its known is a technological marvel developed by the Memorzie Corporation that allows the worlds population to upload and share their memories with each other, or delete bad memories as they see fit."
