The one thing I truly admire Remember Me for is the chance to do something unique. To go against the grain and try to make something work. I feel like the risk was totally worth it but will agree that this game isn't going to make any waves. Sadly, doing something different won't garner the attention it truly deserves. Find out why I support Remember Me.

Shack News: "You only have one chance to make a first impression. Remember Me's first impression is what kept me playing well past the point I would've walked away otherwise. Its opening few hours are a dizzying array of gorgeous aesthetics, jargon overload and combat I thought wasn't quite clicking because I'm rhythmically challenged. I thought that the longer I played the kinks would work themselves out and I'd be able to cope with its rough edges because everything else felt so fresh and daring. The truth is they never did. From the first enemy encounter and uncertain jump to my last, very little changed aside from how I felt about the game."

Digital Trends - Remember Me wont be recalled for its writing. In the first hour or so of the game, memory hunter Nilin dives into the mind of a bounty hunter sent to kill her, changing her would-be assassins memories to convince them that her debilitated, hospital-bound husband has just died. Rather than succumbing to Nilins cyberpunk brain hack by, say, going mad with grief and blind rage, the bounty hunter immediately sides with the resistance against those who wronged her: the megacorporation whose digital memory storage economy is really just a tool of Orwellian control.
