BagoGames: Before The Witcher, The Elder Scrolls, or even Final Fantasy, there was Kings Quest; a comical tale of a knight with a feathered cap who served the kingdom of Daventry so he can become King. It was the beginning of the point and click adventure genre and narrative within the gaming landscape. Now, step forward almost 30 years since the first games release, and we now have a remake of the original idea; its magnificent.

King's Quest: Chapter One - A Knight To Remember Review - TXH

Added: 07.08.2015 1:21 | 6 views | 0 comments

Gareth writes "It was with great excitement and nostalgia that I sat down to play the first chapter of a new adventure in Kings Quest with the promise of five downloadable chunks coming over the next year. Am I disappointed? Does it still excite me? Does it make me want to cry into a bottle of whiskey late at night in the dark remembering my lost youth? The answers are no, yes and yes, but I normally do that anyway on a Thursday."

Kings Quest Episode 1: A Knight to Remember Review | GameSpew

Added: 05.08.2015 22:18 | 7 views | 0 comments

Rich at GameSpew writes: "A classic adventure series that started in the 80s, the Kings Quest games passed me by way back when I was a wee nipper. Having played this new entry developed by The Odd Gentlemen however, Im beginning to think that I may have missed something special. Thrust into the Kingdom of Daventry, you control a meek aspiring young Knight called Graham. Hes a rather likeable fellow thats timid when faced with danger or an awkward situation yet finds the confidence to make a wisecrack or two when the opportunity arises. He also just cannot contain himself when excited. Tasked by the King to recover a magical mirror currently being guarded by a huge dragon, Graham gallantly climbs down a well into the dragons lair, beginning a perilous escapade that serves as a brilliant opening to this charming adventure."
