Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Review | Digital Chumps

DC: Similar to my recent first foray into the massive Final Fantasy franchise, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is one of the now three Resident Evil games I have played. Recently I got to experience the HD Remaster of the Gamecube version and really enjoyed it. Six years ago, I think even to the week actually, I co-oped through Resident Evil 5 in one sitting with a buddy of mine and had a good time. Co-op action returns in Revelations 2 via local split-screen play (online co-op play is only supported for the separate Raid Mode), although unfortunately I have had very little opportunity to play Revelations 2 in co-op just due to scheduling and all that other BS. Suffice it to say that what little local co-op I did play, I enjoyed more than playing single player and working with the AI, which goes for about every game out there -- co-op makes nearly every experience better, see any Army of Two game, any brawler, or Diablo III. That's not to say that Revelations 2 is not fun single player...

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Review I Slant Magazine

Slant Magazine : It's a bit odd that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 goes with Kafka as a motif. Sure, the plot involves the literal metamorphosis of an old foe and, in classic over-the-top Resident Evil fashion, is a convoluted mess-terpiece of mythological references to viruses and visionaries from previous games.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Review I Attack of the Fanboy

Attack of the Fanboy : Resident Evil: Revelations 2 brings back a few classic RE staples, but still won't please most longtime fans. Those seeking standard action will still enjoy the third-person shooter gameplay though.

Preview: Final Fantasy XV | Resident Entertainment

"As I watched the white bar scroll slowly across my screen, I realized how surreal this moment was. To think that after 9 years of waiting, I was finally going to experience Final Fantasy XV. The last few percentages loaded up 98% 99% and I recalled an experience with another demo many years earlier. This was a time when gaming magazines were found in the mail and demos were on discs. One demo I still own to this day, Final Fantasy VII, initially ushered me into a genre I didnt know existed. As the installation process began I had that same sense of wonder, but this time it was mixed together with avid curiosity and a touch of apprehension." -Matthew Dimuzio (Resident Entertainment)
