| Shadowrun: Hong Kong - PC Review | Chalgyr's Game Room
Added: 16.09.2015 22:17 | 51 views | 0 comments
Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
With anxiety bubbling up in the pit of your stomach you step off the rickety, lean-to ferry into the faint light of Hong Kong. Your companions await you at the dock, socked to the bone by the near-constant drizzle and obscured by the sickly grey-green smog that washes over the lower quarters of Hong Kong. As you make your first step out onto the dock your stomach lurches, upset by the refuse of Hong Kong's seedy underbelly and the "complimentary dinner" of instant noodles full of who-knows-what that tasted like it was well beyond its expiry date "Welcome to Hong Kong" you grumble to yourself as you move towards those waiting for you Welcome to Shadowrun: Hong Kong that is; a throwback to classic turn-based roleplaying games. Set in the same universe/timeline as the previous games, Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun: Dragonfall, Shadowrun: Hong Kong leaves its wildly successful Kickstarter and Early Access campaign and strikes out with more vigor than a...

| Taking on the Big Boys in Satellite Reign - Cliqist
Added: 09.09.2015 20:17 | 33 views | 0 comments
Serena Nelson writes: "Cyberpunk stories have been around for decades and there's a reason that they're still popular today. They're mostly modern retellings of David and Goliath, the "little guy" versus the "untouchable juggernaut". And Satellite Reign certainly holds true to these tropes in an action RPG that's a very viable alternative to Shadowrun Returns and its expansion games."

| AJ Tilley Returns for My Highschool Crossdressing Romance
Added: 02.09.2015 0:17 | 38 views | 0 comments
Serena Nelson writes: "The title says it all. AJ Tilley is back on Kickstarter with yet another visual novel project that's seeking funding. According to the backer only updates in his previous campaigns My Highschool Crossdressing Romance is pretty much self funded but this one is to let potential backers in on the fun. Or something. The text of the updates had me seeing red so my judgment was clouded when I was reading them."

| MIA Kickstarter RPG Kitaru Returns With a Demo
Added: 27.08.2015 22:18 | 44 views | 0 comments
Serena Nelson writes: "Until last week the last we heard from the Kitaru devs was almost a year ago. Several people, including myself, had finally written it off as a lost cause. About two months after I had written up a post mortem I got a message in my inbox telling me that development has been continuing, albeit at a snails pace due to having lost valuable people on the team and taking time to learn how to code. While I'd have loved to have heard this news much earlier than this at least we now know why there was radio silence and that the game is still on track to being finished. And we finally have a short, although in rough alpha state with low polygon count, demo to play in."

| Destinys Iron Banner Returns With Felwinters Lie, Boots and Helms
Added: 26.08.2015 19:21 | 33 views | 0 comments
Bungies lag-tastic week-long PvP event has returned to Destiny with the Iron Banner. Given that The Taken King, the next major expansion for Destiny, will be out next week and effectively negating all previously earned Legendaries, is there much use to playing Iron Banner (which is often fraught with lag issues, matchmaking and an overabundance of Thorns)?
