From the review: "If you've reached this point in the game, you're pretty much invested at this point, and there's no good reason not to see this through to the end. The story and puzzle elements of Judgment make for a good setup for the climax to Resident Evil: Revelations 2.

GR-UK writes: "You realise that while Claire Redfield might be the headline name when the game was first announced, Revelations 2's star is the Burton family. Though whether you get the pay-off that underscores that is again really dependent on that last episode choice."

NZGamer : I've only played one Resident Evil game and I severely disliked it, so what was I going to think of a series of Resident Evil games, played episodically? Well, I was shockingly impressed.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Review I Nerd Reactor

Nerd Reactor: And so it continues another franchise has decided to follow the current trend of episodic storytelling. Capcom decided that its AAA franchise Resident Evil would be the one to make the plunge into this popular trend of game design, and I personally think that this is one of the wisest choices that Capcom has done with Resident Evil in a long time. Revelations 2 is broken up into 4 chapters with two separate campaigns in each chapter, along with that there are two bonus campaigns and their take on the horde genre Raid mode. Each separate section feels like its own game on their own with its distinct style and portion of the games story.

Review: Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - Episode 4: Metamorphosis | Purexbox

Purexbox: Good or bad. This is what it all comes down to when discussing the fourth and final chapter of Resident Evil: Revelations 2. No, we arent simply talking about the quality of the episode which remains as consistent as the previous ones but rather the type of ending players will receive in the final act. Episode 4: Metamorphosis provides a satisfying conclusion to the events of Revelations 2 if and only if you made the right decision in a past episode.

BagoGames In the closing chapter of the Resident Evil: Revelations 2, all is finally revealed in a climatic finale in traditional Resident Evil fashion. Claire, Moria, Barry and Natalia are determined to survive their nightmare with many horrifying ordeals standing in their way. So does the last episode give what we have long awaited for survival horror, or does the tradition of Capcoms disappointment with recent franchises finally creep up on us?

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Review - Spooky Island | Gamer Headlines

Added: 24.03.2015 22:18 | 6 views | 0 comments

Gamer Headlines writes: "The Resident Evil franchise has gone through ups and downs with its latest installments, with fans and players criticizing the direction the series was heading to: a more action-oriented experience instead of staying true to its Survival Horror roots. 2012s original Resident Evil: Revelations showcased that Capcom was still able to deliver a title that honors its genre-defining roots by bringing the classic, restrictive and isolating elements that made the first iterations so memorable to an original installment. While its sequel, Revelations 2, goes for a different approach with its episodic format, it successfully captures the essence of Survival Horror by offering a difficult and genuinely frightening experience that will have you playing with the lights on when things get a bit too intense. Trust me, I literally jumped out of my seat a handful of times while playing through Revelations 2s four main campaign episodes."
