Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Review - Spooky Island | Gamer Headlines

Added: 24.03.2015 22:18 | 2 views | 0 comments

Gamer Headlines writes: "The Resident Evil franchise has gone through ups and downs with its latest installments, with fans and players criticizing the direction the series was heading to: a more action-oriented experience instead of staying true to its Survival Horror roots. 2012s original Resident Evil: Revelations showcased that Capcom was still able to deliver a title that honors its genre-defining roots by bringing the classic, restrictive and isolating elements that made the first iterations so memorable to an original installment. While its sequel, Revelations 2, goes for a different approach with its episodic format, it successfully captures the essence of Survival Horror by offering a difficult and genuinely frightening experience that will have you playing with the lights on when things get a bit too intense. Trust me, I literally jumped out of my seat a handful of times while playing through Revelations 2s four main campaign episodes."

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 3 Review - TXH

Added: 24.03.2015 14:21 | 10 views | 0 comments

Neil writes "I was pretty damn impressed with the start of Resident Evil Revelations 2. Episode 1 gave us the background and initial journey into a mutant filled world, whilst Episode 2 continued the good work, dropping the puzzles for a slightly more run and gun affair. So, does Episode 3 Judgement carry things on further or is this a case of mid-term mediocrity?"

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Review | Game Over

GO: There are a few weak spots in Resident Evil: Revelations 2. Its an experiment by Capcom, but its almost entirely a financial one; its a four-episode series of games, rich with fanservice and packed with DLC, at a low overall price point. Most of the systems are hemstitched together from previous entries in the series, particularly Resident Evil Zero, from which it draws its zapping system and the ability to craft grenades or medical supplies from scavenged items.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 4: Metamorphosis Review I PSLS

PSLS : So, it has come to this. Four weeks. Four episodes. One game. Tonight, the fates of our characters will be sealed. Or will they? Seeing as how the first three episodes of Resident Evil Revelations 2 have been pretty entertaining, it appears Capcom has a sure thing in the bag. But we mustnt assume that they have an easy win here.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - Episode 4 Review I Dread Central

Dread Central : And here we are, at the final episode of this unnecessarily drawn out road known as Revelations 2. I would be lying to say that I didnt start looking forward to the next episode halfway through the second, but the installments have drawn some ire from me for being poor self contained experiences.
