Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Might be Getting More Raid Mode DLC Soon

Added: 21.03.2015 2:23 | 4 views | 0 comments

Capcom have released a new image for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 that shows Claire Redfield going up against a gigantic version of the Ironhead monster, in what looks like the beach in the Terragrigia level from Resident Evil: Revelations 1. This could signify that Capcom might be releasing some new content for Resident Evil: Revelations 2's Raid Mode in the form of DLC maps with new enemies and challenges to face. It's worth noting that Capcom is attending NicoNico Chou Kaigi 2015 Public Expo, which runs from 25th April 2015 until 26th April 2015, and they are bringing Resident Evil: Revelations 2 with them, so chances are that we could get a reveal then.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 review for Xbox One, PS4, PC | Gaming Age

GA: As far as episodic experiments go, I think Capcom has done a really excellent job with their handling of Resident Evil Revelations 2. Releasing weekly episodes, as opposed to monthly or bi-monthly episodes, was an interesting approach, and one that I think worked in their favor here. The story elements and cliffhangers presented at the end of episodes 1 through 3 were strong enough to keep players coming back, in addition to the gameplay elements. But the wait wasnt so long that it was difficult to keep players interested, or make them feel like they were missing out for too long if they opted to wait for the final product. Resident Evil Revelations 2 has been a pretty good example of how not to alienate your fanbase with episodic releases, and its an example I wouldnt mind seeing followed by other companies going forward.
