Sacred 3 is a straightforward hack and slash RPG that allows you to jump into various fantasy locales, either alone or with friends, for mindless fun. Unfortunately mindless becomes the key word in that statement for a game that completely throws away what made older titles in the series unique, while also failing to do anything special or interesting on its own.

"The combat is fun but hammering those buttons until the end certainly gets mundane very quickly. Now, I get that its concept is to play with friends, to go on an adventure of discovery together, and to witness spectacular events together. As a team, you will write your story, often in spite of the writing laid before you. Laughter and joy should ensue. You might get that playing Sacred 3, but you also might want to check out better hack-'n'-slash games.
