Review: Soul Sacrifice (DarkZero)

Added: 31.05.2013 20:17 | 15 views | 0 comments

"Sonys Vita is still crying for that game to signal a rebirth. The Vita hasn't hit its stride and Sony bizarrely hasn't gone into panic mode yet, something Nintendo did when the 3DS was lacking momentum after its release, pumping out quality games to get people interested in the system. This is something Sony needs to do. Sure, some games are good on the Vita, and one of them, Persona 4 Golden, is one of the best I have ever played...but its an enhanced port, which isn't quite as amazing as having a high-quality, original game for the Vita." Tom at El33tonline writes: "Thankfully the first major co-op action RPG for the PS Vita, Soul Sacrifice, is far from being a disappointment, offering players an addictive blend of combat and character progression that is equally rewarding whether you play alone or take the fight online."

Soul Sacrifice Review - Glitch Cat

Added: 31.05.2013 8:17 | 15 views | 0 comments

Glitch Cat - When it comes down to it, Soul Sacrifice is a great game, full of fun combat, loads of replay value, and some of the best multiplayer Ive seen in a handheld console. While it does have a couple of issues here and there, like idiotic A.I. and repetitive missions, its a game thatll keep players coming back for more and more, and then some.

Soul Sacrifice Review | Analog Addiction

Added: 29.05.2013 13:17 | 14 views | 0 comments

Analog Addiction writes: "By what measure do human beings weigh the worth of their souls? Its not an easy question, nor is it a difficult one, but its a question that is continually asked with every sacrifice made in Sonys latest Vita game, Soul Sacrifice. Its asked when we choose our equipment before missions; its asked when we choose to murder or save our hunt, its asked when we are on the brink of death so many times. Its a dim metaphor of a game, but it is also its greatest strength. While Soul Sacrifice is by no means the killer app the Vita deserves, it is still one of 2013s most unique games of the year. With that said, is it any good?"

Soul Sacrifice: Inafunes latest is all about trade-offs | SnackBarGames Review

Added: 26.05.2013 9:17 | 10 views | 0 comments

SnackBarGames write: 'Soul Sacrifice does what few games do. It carries a theme, clings to it, spreads it throughout all of the bits and pieces that make up a video game: a medium that tells a story not only through blatant exposition, but also the personal experience a player has when physically interacting with its world. Soul Sacrifice demands much of the player, and forces tough choices: not just good versus evil, but risk versus reward. The ramifications of your choices, your sacrifices, go beyond altering your ending or your flavor text. They also define the way you play the game.'

Soul Sacrifice Review [Capsule Computers]

Added: 25.05.2013 9:17 | 12 views | 0 comments

Sergei Lazarev of Capsule Computers writes: "Its not often that a first-party PS Vita title makes an appearance since the systems launch in early 2012. The handheld has been almost begging for a killer title (at least in the West) and, unless youre an avid Japan importer, your game library is looking lonely. So here we have Soul Sacrifice, a creation spawned from the mind of Keiji Inafune who co-designed Mega Man. Mixing the successful monster hunting formula with a dark narrative and macabre art design, is this a much-needed system-seller?"
