It's a game with deep strategic gameplay that makes you plan, build, and master what abilities you can get your hands on. This is complimented by a strong online mode that's great to play with friends. While palette swapping monsters and reused zones are a disappointment, the overall obvious effort in design makes up for it. While it's not for everyone (as with any mission based game), for those looking for a deep experience on the Vita, check it out. Game Over Online: "Soul Sacrifice is one of the Vitas most polished efforts yet, and thanks to an extensive demo that will take a couple of hours to complete even if you dont grind for goodies its easy to see if youll enjoy the full game or not without having to spend money up-front. As someone who loved Ragnarok Odyssey, but really doesnt like the Monster Hunter series itself, I found this super-dark take on the action RPG sub-genre to be very interesting and fun. If youre curious about it, clear some space up on your memory card and download the demo your time with it is well-spent as you can carry your save over to the full game, and find out if the formula is for you. Theres a bit of a learning curve to it given the many things you can do, so be sure to spend as much time as you need to get accustomed to everything in the demo before buying the full game.
