Next week on the PlayStation Network, Sony will be releasing a demo for the upcoming action-RPG, and completely fucking bonkers Soul Sacrifice.

Our very own Blake Peterson got some hands-on time with Keiji Inafune's latest game, and called Soul Sacrifice "the only game I've yet played that makes me seriously consider purchasing a Vita". He also said "Holy Shit".

TSA: "Soul Sacrifice, Sonys first party answer to a still absent Monster Hunter, doesnt really warrant such a lazy comparison. The Japan Studio developed title might look at first glance like Capcoms ubiquitous series, but its quickly obvious that theres enough individuality here that ultimately theres room for both. Not that there are any signs of the currently Nintendo-favouring titles appearing on Sonys portable anytime soon."

I take a look at the new PlayStation Vita game Soul Sacrifice. What I have here is a Japanese copy of the game, A Japanese account enabled Vita, Little to no knowledge of the Japanese language and a huge desire to play this game. Everything you read here is my take on what I think is going on in this game. Yes some things may be wrong, But then some things may be right. This is the joy of import gaming, The game is what you make of it.

Have you already finished BioShock Infinite? Again? And again?! And again? Well, the developers who have their titles releasing this month sure hopes that you have and that you're ready for another round of games. Soul Sacrifice is batshit crazy. And that's awesome.

I didn't know this when I played a carefully guided demo at E3, but my hand was being held through the game by the Sony Playstation staff. At GDC, they just had Soul Sacrifice sitting there on a Vita in the middle of the show floor. I picked it up, went back to the loading screen, and started a new game.
