Players would be matched up against competitors from within their territory, and Capcom would have a better idea of how to manage things on a more global scale for the future. Its a strategy that seems to have paid off because, after a successful stint in Europe, the Beta has made its way over to our shores without a hitch. Short Pause: "Arguably, episodic adventure games are hitting their peak. As a fan of story driven games, I am absolutely in love with this genre (albeit, a bit frustrated with it at times due to the wait time between episodes, a fact exaggerated that much more when the series is excellent). When I saw the first trailer for Blues and Bullets, I was immediately hooked on the concept. An alternate reality crime saga featuring a heavy noir style and focusing on Elliot Ness and the mob? Sign me up! After months of anticipation and teases, developer A Crowd of Monsters latest outing has finally made its debut on the Xbox One and does little to disappoint."

Short Pause: "So I had every intention of streaming of just one hour but instead, I got completely enthralled with the gameplay and overall presentation of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, and went on to stream for 2.5 hours instead! I'ver really enjoyed my time with this game and it further cements my stupidity for passing on the Xbox brand before this gen. I'd even go as far as to say that I prefer the Gears of War campaign and gameplay over the Halo series (so far anyways) by quite a large margin. The control scheme may seem a little dated compared to today's standards, but even then, the gameplay itself is tight and responsive, which was really surprising. I"m really looking forward to finishing through the campaign in order to prepare myself for Gears of War 4 next year. I may even fire up Gears of War 2 via backwards compatibility later this fall when the digital version becomes available; I've heard from many around the Short Pause offices that it's the best entry in the series."
