Resident Evil: One Step Back, One to the Side | Gamereactor UK

Added: 31.10.2014 20:11 | 14 views | 0 comments

GR-UK gets hands-on with the HD Remake and Revelations 2: "So, two different flavours of Resident Evil. We're not being snide to the current status of the series by saying we much preferred our time with the Remake, but currently it seems the superior offering if you're stuck between making one purchase when the two titles are released next year. We really enjoyed the original Revelations, but the sequel feels like a different take again. We'll need to sit down and play the full first episode, but there's a big question mark as to whether this the right direction for the series, even if it's just for the side-entries."

Candlelight is 2.5D Side Scrolling Action Platform Awesomeness

Added: 30.10.2014 7:11 | 17 views | 0 comments

Carl Williams writes, "Anyone that knows me knows I am into 2.5D side scrolling games from the likes of Astal and Clockwork Knight on the Sega Saturn to the reboot of Castle of Illusion or Swordigo. If it is 2.5D side scrolling action, role playing, adventuring, I will at least give it a chance. This is the reason I am covering Candlelight, it is a 2.5D side scrolling action platform title in the style of the Super Mario series but you are in control of a candle of all things. Yeah, a candle, made of wax with a burning top. Now read on and find out why you should care."

Sign Motion Review Do Not Enter | GIZORAMA

Added: 28.10.2014 0:11 | 5 views | 0 comments

Liam Lambert, GIZORAMA - "Sign Motion possesses a seriously unique visual style and core gimmick, if you will. You are the young boy from the school crossing sign, and after having escaped said sign and the guardianship of Sign Mummy/Daddy, you find yourself running, jumping and swinging through a 2-D world constructed entirely out of various signs. Although this sounds like an interesting concept, the game itself soon squanders its own potential and diverts into a dull bog of shoddy physics, unresponsive controls and unjustifiable heaps of trial and error."
