On the code side, everyone seems to be adapting very quick. What you're seeing today is from nothing in January to now.

Added: 28.04.2014 13:14 | 13 views | 0 comments

Sean Davies from Jill Sandwich writes: I feel very fortunate. I am white, was born into a middle class catholic family and attended excellent schools and colleges. Looking back, I have lived in a bubble of invisible privilege my entire life. Of course, I know this bubble exists. I know that outside of my circle of appanage, people are subjected to racism, sexism and all manner of discrimination and prejudice but I have never been subjected to it. I have never been stopped driving my car. I have traveled all over the globe and I have never been stopped or searched in an airport. I know I am treated differently than others who come from a different back ground. I also feel fortunate that I have been able to amass a brilliant group of friends that come from a wide variety of backgrounds that all share the same interest gaming. "Reward is the keystone to a punishing video game. Without it, a game crumbles like poorly stacked stones." There is poetry in the dungeon crawler. Something about the interminable journey through the dark and its many trials a confusing maze of hallways, a cursed treasure, things creeping from the dark places of the earth calls to the poet in each of us, and that's part of the reason we finish these oppressive, harrowing games. There's also the excitement of creating a party and the tension of opening forbidding doors- the fun of seeing what new horrors the game can provide. There's also usually some light at the end, whether the literal light of the sun or the spiritual radiance of freedom.

Added: 24.04.2014 16:14 | 6 views | 0 comments

BD writes: "Ill always think of the first two Silent Hill soundtracks as some of the most game-changing OSTs to hit the video game world. Something about them just filled me with wonder and Ive always put them on during those foggy days that rarely visit Southeast Michigan. So, seeing this cover was something special. Performed by twins Camille Kennerly, its a beautiful dual harp cover of two of the franchises most infamous tracks: Not Tomorrow (from Silent Hill 1) and Promise (Reprise) (from Silent Hill 2)."
