Thats Another Assassins Creed With Something Special But Too Much Missed Potential

Added: 21.11.2013 19:17 | 2 views | 0 comments

An opinion piece via eGamer in which the author has a rant about the latest Assassin's Creed title, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The game boasts one of the most well-crafted open worlds in gaming history but severely lacks in storytelling cohesion, missing an ocean of potential and ending up feeling a little dead in the water. Enough sea puns now. Quote: "To put it in a short, curt sentence: Ubisoft is the undisputed champion of disappointment. I cant even tell if theyre holding back or just completely in over their heads with this franchise. Assassins Creed IV manages to be, at the same time, something absolutely special with its beautiful and vibrant open world, its intriguing and captivating setting and its endearing and likeable main character, and yet completely flippant in its storytelling, stumbling over itself and missing the world of potential yet again."

The Duke of Cambridge likes the look of Sony's new console, but isn't sure what Kate would think of it.

Speaking about the new campaign, he added: "Our developers are demand than ever before, so I hope the young people take inspiration from today's workshop, and get a taste for what a career in games might be like."

"I know that I, for one,...

Bionic Dues Review | ComboCaster

Added: 14.11.2013 21:17 | 10 views | 0 comments

Bionic Dues is the new game from Arcen Games, a studio that seems to have an inexhaustible inspiration because in a little over a year ComboCaster already analyzed two sets of them, this being the third. This time Arcen brings us a roguelike shift with mechs and their customization. The roguelike are really fashionable because yesterday we launched a review of the last one and we were actually many who came here. Something that also seems to be more popular than ever are mechs. In recent times apart from Bandai releases that are already normal, had a fantastic online shooter, Mechwarrior Online a monster movie that while not exactly a movie mechs everyone can see the inspiration, Pacific Rim and we still have to Titanfall next year. If these humanoid robots were ever in fashion is now.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes review - A surprise hit | ArabicGamers

Added: 14.11.2013 16:17 | 2 views | 0 comments

ArabicGamers writes: Lego Marvel Super Heroes is one of the most charming games I've ever got my hands on. When your gaming diet includes a high-intake of guns, fighting and general abuse over online multiplayer, occasionally it's nice to kick back and relax with something that offers a slightly different experience. Something filled with over a hundred colourful characters from the Marvel universe - each stuffed with their own unique personality and traits - perhaps?

Tiny Games Review (iPhone, iPad)

Added: 12.11.2013 15:00 | 5 views | 0 comments

Gamezebo Rating: 90

What do you expect from a mobile game? Something that can be played in bite-sized chunks, I imagine. Probably you're thinking about the quality of graphics and sound, about your favourite genres, about becoming absorbed into the minuscule world on the screen, if only for a little while.

Whatever your expectations were, Tiny Games will confound them all.

Tiny Games is not really a game. It's an enabler of play. And I mean play in the loosest sense: whoever you are, wherever you are, whoever you're with, there will probably be something here that entertains and delights you, and probably several things that will irritate and embarrass you, too.
