Beyond: Two Souls Trophies Unveiled… And Only Three Aren't "Secret"

Added: 07.10.2013 14:10 | 5 views | 0 comments

The trophy list for Quantic Dream's upcoming narrative-driven adventure Beyond: Two Souls has been revealed, and it's a bit shorter than you might have expected.

That's right, there are only three visible trophies in the entire game. I guess the rest are hidden behind story-sensitive content. Something tells me you're going to have to play through this one quite a few times to see all the endings and get that coveted platinum.

Knock-Knock Review | RealGamerNewz

Jon of RealGamerNewz writes, "Something is going on in this game that taps into the other side, and not that pretty / flowery other side that good folks are sent to when they pass. Im talking about the other side that reaches its hand into the realm of the living and touches us only when we are at our highest anxiety levels, inspiring some of our worst fears and least sane decisions. In Knock-Knock, players take the shoes of a restless man who deals with a presence in his home that can only be described as demonic. You will find yourself blaming your own thoughts as if you are the one who has invited this presence to terrorize you. There are only a few things you can do to try and maintain sanity. Short of lighting up the house and turning your back to the horrific waking nightmare that is occurring, the player is subject to an experience that is possibly more terrifying than the recent releases in this genre. This is because at the same time you are playing the game, its reall...

Zelda producer on Wii U game -- "It's going well"

Added: 05.10.2013 0:58 | 8 views | 0 comments

Eiji Aonuma speaks positively about upcoming Wii U Zelda game, says it will use GamePad in "various ways"; wants to shake up series with new game.

Development on the upcoming .

"It#146;s going well!,#146; Aonuma said, explaining that the new game will use the Wii U GamePad in "various ways." None of these were specified.

Also in the interview, Aonuma was asked about his recent comment that he is "tired" of making Zelda games. This quote was misinterpreted, he said, because he really meant he is tired of making games based on the same formula.

#146;When I say I#146;m tired, I#146;m not talking about making Zelda, but rather, the same constituent that has been used to make Zelda up until now," Aonuma said. "While on the subject, in regard to how we#146;ve always done things the traditional way until now: #146;Why does it have to be traditional?#146; That#146;s the question I#146;ve been asking myself.#146;

#146;If we don#146;t change that, we can#146;t make something new. We#146;re slightly approaching with that mindset, and also the next Zelda title, which we intend to continue changing," he added. "However, this brings us to the topic, #146;Exactly what is The Legend of Zelda about?#146;

Aonuma said something that is "traditional" is something that, in a sense, copies from the work that came before it. By continuing to do this, a franchise's uniqueness can fade away, he said.

"So, by no means, am I tired of it,#146; Aonuma said. #146;Rather, the more we change it, the more I get fired up. Having someone think #146;Huh? Is this Zelda?!#146; at first, then #146;Oh, it is Zelda,#146; is what we#146;re going for. Something that wouldn't make it matter whether Link or Princess Zelda appear in it or not. Something where it wouldn't even matter if Zelda is actually a princess, or not.#146;

Aonuma will discuss the Legend of Zelda series during a .

A wooden house stands in the forest. A single man lives there. The house recieves visits from unusual guests that knock on the window inviting this strange hermit to join them in a game of hide-and-seek. To win, simply remain alive and maintain your sanity until sunrise. Approaching the Visitors head-on is a dangerous idea. As soon as the first Visitor emerges from the forest, the countdown begins. Every passing hour brings them closer to the house, and the house's walls offer no sanctuary. Something is already inside. Something is opening the window and banging around in the kitchen. Something controls the cellar and attic. Floorboards creak softly deep in the bowels of the house. The Visitors are well aware of your position, so you must make your rounds of the house and find the breaches that let the creatures inside while doing your best to mend them. You may come across some useful items that might help your survival, but those items are always random and your inventory is limited to 5 slots, so your gear changes by night. Survive until sunrise and the monsters disappear, but if they get you before the sun peeks over the horizon, well, just the idea is terrifying.

OXM UK - "I don't know about you, but if an overfed flying, fire-breathing iguana dropped through my roof, the first thing I'd do is yell something at it. Something along the lines of: "That mantelpiece wasn't insured, Mr Dinosaur - accordingly, I now require you to batten upon the anguish that is a heavily upgraded greatsword." Please add in exclamation marks as you see fit."

Guerrilla Games is responsible for bringing not one but two Killzone games to PlayStation platforms this year. First it was Killzone: Mercenary on PlayStation Vita and then Killzone: Shadow Fall, which will be launching alongside PlayStation 4. Fortunatley, it looks like the studio is all Killzone'd out at this point, as the team's next project will be something outside of the sci-fi shooter franchise.
