VII Things That Final Fantasy VII Cannot Lose

Added: 21.07.2015 12:18 | 2 views | 0 comments

From Releases: "It has been eighteen years since Final Fantasy VII made its debut on Sonys PlayStation and well, the world is a little bit different. Story-telling has changed and the use of drama/comedy juxtaposition has certainly evolved since 1997. Were going to see a lot of changes before the upcoming Final Fantasy VII - Remake sees the light of day and we should be okay with that. The original is still a classic and, although it hasnt exactly aged well, those who loved how the original played will always be able to return to it."

This Shia LaBeouf DLC For Sonic Generations Is Sadly Fake

Added: 16.07.2015 21:46 | 13 views | 0 comments

Sonic Generations is considered one of the last great Sonic games ever made. It combines all the greatest stages from Sonic's history into one giant, celebratory compilation pack. I loved it and so did a lot of other gamers. Imagine the surprise of fans when Sega seemed to be hinting at some new DLC for the game... except, it's fake DLC and it features Transformers alum Shia LaBeouf.

Why I Love Shenmue

Added: 16.07.2015 19:15 | 7 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "I don't remember the day that the snow turned to rain, but I do remember when I first learned about Shenmue. I must have been no more than 11-years-old at the time, and I'd been bought a copy of EDGE magazine. It had one of those customary end-of-year features spotlighting all of the exciting upcoming games, and in it was a small section on Yu Suzuki's magnum opus. There couldn't have been more than a paragraph of text on the title, but there was a screenshot of protagonist Ryo Hazuki looking up at an overhead plane. Call it instinct, but I knew right there and then that I had to play this game, and so I started the arduous task of trying to convince my parents that I had to trade every Nintendo 64 game that I owned for the recently released Dreamcast. I was lucky enough to acquire SEGA's shiny new system alongside a copy of Sonic Adventure just prior to the end of the year."

Back to Black: Criterion's Signature Shooter

Added: 16.07.2015 13:15 | 0 views | 0 comments

For those of you who werent clutching controllers in the early 2000s, Black may have slipped you by without much notice. But for those of us with Sonys black box or Microsofts monolith, this was a game of legend. Criterion making an FPS had always been big news. They claimed to do for shooting what Burnout did for racing tear it apart. Obnoxiously loud and powerful guns? Check. Destructible environments? Check. Immense explosions and gorgeous visual effects? Oh yes, plenty of those. Criterion promised to impress, and they delivered spectacularly.
