Last week, genDesign, the creative studio behind The Last Guardian, teased a new and different way of bringing The Last Guardian creature Trico to the Tokyo Game Show. Today, we see what they meant by that. At this weeks Tokyo Game Show, there will be a corner of the Sony booth where attendees can communicate with a life-size version of Trico, who is projected on a giant screen and controlled by the same AI used in the game. By the look of it, it will react to your movements.

The first path is when the developers choose to use the latest and greatest technology to power their game, while the second path is for developers to instead choose to cast as wide a net as possible when crafting their system requirements, which means ensuring that older machines are quite capable of running the game. Just announced from Daybreak Games is EverQuests twenty-second expansion. Thats right you read that correctly their twenty-second expansion! I myself used to play EverQuest (or EQ as its more commonly known) from their second expansion The Scars of Velious, which was released back in 2000. For those that are unaware of EQ, it is one of the first MMORPGs set free upon the world to rob players of valuable Vitamin D, the initial being the great time-sink Ultima Online; EQ originally came from Sony Online Entertainment, before recently being handed over to Daybreak Games.
