Back to Bed Review | GameSpew

Rich at GameSpew writes: "Bob has narcolepsy Back to Bed informs you, via one of its many wondrous pieces of art interspersed between its 30 levels. If I was Bob though, Id be less worried about my narcolepsy and more concerned about the vivid Salvador Dali-esque dreams Im having. You see, Bob sleepwalks in his dreams, and when they are full of fiendish puzzles and nightmarish creatures, who knows what the repercussions could be were he to be suddenly awoken. Luckily for Bob, he has a strange dog-like creature called Subob (eerily sporting Bobs visage, might I add) that looks after him during these strange forays into surrealism, and with you taking control of this peculiar canine its your job to manipulate Bob in order to get him back to bed for a peaceful bout of slumber."

GameSpot reports that a YouTube channel called Censored Gaming has created a video detailing just how many changes there are in Until Dawn in Japan. You'll want to avoid it if you're afraid of spoilers or violent imagery, but the video is an interesting study on just how different the Japanese version of the game actually is.

Lost Dimension Review | GameSpew

Westy at GameSpew writes: "'The End' is here. Well, thats his actual name but hes hell-bent on destroying the world unless a group of highly-trained mutants can stop him! Not those mutants, though: mutants with guns, swords and enough backstory to fill a novel. That is until you make a pink-haired schoolgirl punch a robot to death, then everything goes out of the window. Make no mistake, this is a JRPG and it isnt afraid to show it. That might sound negative, but it honestly isnt. Load it up, and you get hints of Metal Gear Solid, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey and even Time Crisis. Youd be forgiven for thinking that sounds like an odd mix, but it works surprisingly well. Sometimes."

Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power Review | GameSpew

Added: 28.08.2015 12:18 | 13 views | 0 comments

Samuel at GameSpew writes: "Beautiful environments, quirky characters and engaging narrative-driven platforming is what we have come to expect from Frozenbyte, the developers behind the original Trine, released in 2009. They lovingly crafted a sumptuous looking and fluid platformer that was widely appreciated by players and lauded by critics. Trine 2 built on this foundation, improving the visual fidelity and engrossing players in its tight narrative-driven levels and the charming personalities of its characters. The third and latest instalment in the series, Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power, unfortunately doesnt quite manage to clear the high bar set by its acclaimed predecessors."

Rich at GameSpew writes: "Renowned as one of the greatest game franchises of all time, Mega Man crashes onto current-gen consoles and PC in this collection of NES releases from 1987 to 1993. With six games for you to blast through as the Blue Bomber, is Mega Man Legacy Collection worthy of your cash? Maybe. But only if youre a devout fan of the titular robotic hero."

Hacknet Review | GameSpew

Added: 27.08.2015 12:18 | 20 views | 0 comments

David at GameSpew writes: "Hacking is one of those Hollywood jobs we all wish we could do. Youd be a lovable nerd loser or an owner of a ruggedly handsome beard (even you ladies) with a shady past and likely a debt to clear. Youre breaking into the mainframe to access the internets source files and triangulate the bad guy through his love of Peruvian pipe music videos. On the other hand, you could be the bad guy and hope that MI6 skipped day one of network security and plug your booby trapped laptop in. Okay, so youre not gonna be an international terrorist or hero who saves the day, but Hacknet still captures that authentic movie feel."
