Does Gigantic Hurt Itself by Requiring Windows 10?

Added: 16.09.2015 12:17 | 44 views | 0 comments

There are two distinct paths that developers can choose to follow when creating mmorpg games. The first path is when the developers choose to use the latest and greatest technology to power their game, while the second path is for developers to instead choose to cast as wide a net as possible when crafting their system requirements, which means ensuring that older machines are quite capable of running the game. Both paths have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. One game that has definitely chosen the first path is the upcoming Gigantic, the moba-inspired online game currently in development by Motiga. Some players expressed joy over this announcement, but others were not so effusive in their praise. Does Gigantic hurt itself by requiring Windows 10?

Do GTA:O Freemode Events Foreshadow GTA's Future?

GTA 5 Cheats looks at whether Rockstar's approach to GTA V/GTA Online means we might see a freemium/free to play/play to win model for Grand Theft Auto VI. "When the game hit the insane 54 million shipped copies milestone, Rockstar and Take Two Interactive released some financial info showing that the vast majority of their revenue came from microtransactions in GTA Online. GTA Online players may purchase Shark Cash Cards for real money, which then add in-game currency to their characters. The free-to-play/pay-to-win model for video games has been immensely popular and lucrative in the past few years, with a number of big-name MMOs switching to an F2P system."

Shelter 2 - PC Review | Chalgyr's Game Room

Added: 16.09.2015 8:17 | 17 views | 0 comments

Chalgyr's Game Room writes: To me, the mark of a great game it one that delivers a unique experience that stays with you. Theyre the ones that make you fall in love with the characters, dish out emotional trauma with their story lines, give you that arm hair raising moment of awe, or make you think. There are of course times where you just want to wreak utter havoc and destroy things in a blood soaked haze for a few hours without much thought as to why youre storming a creepy ruin waving a comically large meat poker; and there are some good games that give you that. However, the ones that truly stand out are the games that tug at your heart strings in some way. Shelter 2 doesnt just tug at the heart strings though; it gives them a good yank then plays them like a cello.
