There are several reasons Joseph, at HSR, firmly supports PlayStation Plus and dont mind the £40 a year subscription in the slightest; one of these reasons being that we, PS+ Subscribers, are given over 40 titles a year (admittedly some you may already own and dont expect any newly released AAA titles) for the whole trio of PlayStation consoles. Every now and then a true gem of a game is handed to us from the Sony gods upon high.

| Is Making the Core Game of Guild Wars 2 Free a Good Move?
Added: 04.09.2015 7:17 | 13 views | 0 comments
There's no doubt that ArenaNet has made a major impact upon the world of mmorpg games with their buy-to-play model. Their original Guild Wars launched when subscription-based games ruled the land, and their Guild Wars 2 began life when free-to-play mmos had taken over. Yet their brand of having players buy the core game and play forever without any subscription fees proved to be a winner. However, the company has moved into new territory when they announced at PAX Prime that the core game of Guild Wars 2 was now going to be free to all players. Was this the right decision? Is making the core game of Guild Wars 2 free a good move?

Remember kids, donÄ‚Ë€â„Ët talk to strangershellip; unless theyÄ‚Ë€â„Ëre handing out robots, then take the damn robot and save the world already.
There are some odd standards when it comes to video game role-playing: ransacking your neighborÄ‚Ë€â„Ës unlocked houses, doing dangerous jobs for people youÄ‚Ë€â„Ëve never met in towns youÄ‚Ë€â„Ëve never been to, even punching hippies and dogs (thanks for that, Ness). But "entry-level" RPGs usually include one more surprising one, and that is the "child/children being given a life-threatening task in saving the world/defeating a massive evil organization/mafia/syndicate" motif. I suppose in the pixelated ether, thereÄ‚Ë€â„Ës just too many people over the age of 14 that donÄ‚Ë€â„Ët have what it takes to take on the rest of the world. They grew out of it, maybe?

| Why Metal Gear Solid Vs Prologue Might Be The Greatest Introduction To A Video Game Ever
Added: 03.09.2015 22:18 | 30 views | 0 comments
There have been many great introductions to a video game in past years. Uncharted 2 for example is one of the most famous introductions with Nathan Drake climbing up a train that is hanging of a cliff. Then you have other great openings to other video game series like Mass Effect and Bioshock. I think Metal Gear Solid Vs prologue is just that one better compared to these classic introductions.
Warning: Does include spoilers from the opening mission so only read if you've completed it!
