| Kaboomshark Review: Rogue Legacy
Added: 31.07.2013 18:25 | 0 views | 0 comments
J. Thomas of Kaboomshark writes "If I ever find myself searching for salvation through an endlessly rearranging castle, Im not so sure Id want my children following in my ridiculously stupid delusion stemming from who knows where only to inevitably end up just as dead as I was. On the other hand, it does make for a fun gameplay mechanic, star of the latest and greatest indie game, Rogue Legacy. CellarDoorGames standout project, Rogue Legacy is an amusing pseudo-parody of the recent surge in popularity of the permadeath themed Roguelike-like. Coming as no surprise, Rogue Legacy is one of the most addictive experiences of the year."

| Stealth Inc. Interview: Changing Names, Additional Content for PS3/Vita and Sony's Involvement
Added: 26.07.2013 21:17 | 3 views | 0 comments
"Stealth Inc. isn't your typical stealth game - despite the naming. Formerly known as "Stealth Bastard", Curve Studios' little project wants you to associate "getting caught" and "dying" fairly quickly. Of course, being so involved with Sony in bringing the game to PlayStation 3 and PS Vita (the studio also handled the development of Thomas Was Alone to the console and handheld), Curve is quite busy with other things as well."

| Hotline Miami Review for PSN, PS Vita | Gaming Age

Matthew Pollesel writes: I should probably hate everything about Hotline Miami. It's ridiculously hard, it's brutally violent, and it requires meticulous planning every step of the way. It gives you a letter grade at the end of each level. Its 16-bit graphics revel in their grittiness, its music is heavy on the reverb, and the whole thing is drenched in a cokey neon haze. Here's the thing, though: I love Hotline Miami. I love every little aspect of the game, from its difficulty to its gameplay to its atmosphere. I don't know if I'd call it my mid-year Game of the Year (that's still Thomas Was Alone), but it's most definitely in my Top 3.
