Hotline Miami Review for PSN, PS Vita | Gaming Age

Added: 24.07.2013 23:16 | 6 views | 0 comments

Matthew Pollesel writes: I should probably hate everything about Hotline Miami. It's ridiculously hard, it's brutally violent, and it requires meticulous planning every step of the way. It gives you a letter grade at the end of each level. Its 16-bit graphics revel in their grittiness, its music is heavy on the reverb, and the whole thing is drenched in a cokey neon haze. Here's the thing, though: I love Hotline Miami. I love every little aspect of the game, from its difficulty to its gameplay to its atmosphere. I don't know if I'd call it my mid-year Game of the Year (that's still Thomas Was Alone), but it's most definitely in my Top 3.

Stealth Inc. : A Clone in the Dark Review | GodisaGeek

Added: 23.07.2013 16:17 | 0 views | 0 comments

GodisaGeek: "A Clone in the Dark follows the trend recently set by Thomas Was Alone, Hotline Miami and Velocity Ultra of excellent, tightly-made, addictive indie games on the Vita and simply feels as though it was made for the handheld. Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark is a belter: occasionally frustrating and sometimes incredibly demanding, but always enjoyable and well-crafted throughout. An essential purchase for any Vita owner who likes a challenge, with the (now) standard added bonus of cloud saving across both Vita and PS3."

Thomas Was Alone Review | Warp Zoned

Added: 20.07.2013 22:24 | 1 views | 0 comments

Warp Zoned writes: "Thomas Was Alone is a lovely little puzzle game in which you get to play as different shapes. Each shape has a different power whether its jumping far, floating on liquid, or being able to walk on the ceiling. The shapes must work together to clear each stage, solving puzzles and helping each other get through areas sometimes by physically carrying one another, and other times by pressing buttons to open up new areas. It may sound boring, but I can assure you, this tiny game is anything but boring in fact, theres a huge and beautiful game experience tied into its little frame."

Hands-on with OlliOlli: Your next essential PS Vita game Last week I was down in sunny Brighton for the Develop Conference. I was about to set off back to my hotel after a hard day's keyboard-hammering when a developer asked me to check out his game. I had a spare five minutes to kill, so I thought, "why not?" Half an hour later, I still had the PS Vita glued to my hands. The developer was Thomas Hegarty of British studio Roll7, and the game was O...

'Hardest' Battlefield 3 Easter Egg Finally Discovered By YouTube Personality

MP1st - "Back in April, last year, we reported on an a near-impossible-to-find Battlefield 3 easter egg that was hinted at by now ex-DICE voice-over designer, Thomas Danko. Despite the handful of clues that Danko included in his tweets, no Battlefield 3 player has successfully discovered the easter egg, or has at least successfully documented it, as of yet.
