Since I write this post every week, I have the honor of bestowing one game with our "pick of the week" designation. What does this mean? Nothing. It's title-only and there is no money involved. Honestly sometimes I forget to pick a game.

Regardless, I'm gonna go with Metro: Last Light for GR's pick of the week. It's got gorgeous visuals, a whole lot of excellent shooting and stealth mechanics, and naked women if that's what you're in to.

NWR: Kid Icarus Uprising was a new take on a franchise that was dormant for 20 years, yet far from forgotten. The long-awaited return of Pit, Palutena and Medusa came to the 3DS with an explosive impact and stands as a true testament to how a franchise, Nintendo, and even the industry itself can evolve and improve over two decades. How fitting that it's number two on our list.

Posts where people cry about how theyve been wronged because their favorite weapon was nerfed and how it must be CCPs intent to screw them over [specifically of course] always fall on deaf ears to us. The devs have to consider the whole library and big picture rather than a single weapon when they make changes. Take the Minmatar HMG for a moment: Consider for a moment that if all holds true to EVE canon, the Minmatar HMG will probably be third in pure damage to the Gallente and Amarr variants. This could have been an impetus for lowering the HMG damage. Because it has to be slotted correctly when compared to the others and they dont want to be forced to give us a Gallente proto HMG that does 26 damage per round. Were just extrapolating here but we think you get the point. The devs have also mentioned that they use metrics, and not a vo...

XBLIG: Avatar Trials: Ninja Uprising (80 MSP) spurred some internal debate. On the one hand (my right, the less dominant and more forgiving), I know that the game was made and released by undergraduate students from the University of Utah. Its their first project as a team. On the other hand (my left, the brash, the lout, therefore the one in charge), I had to remind myself that none of that matters. Feelings aside, rookie outing or not, everything has to come back to the gameplay.

Victoria from postitgamer.com states "Uprising is a worthy DLC addition to Black Ops 2. Although its a bit pricey (if you dont have the Season Pass) and these arent the best COD maps, Id definitely suggest downloading it just to experience the Mob of the Dead mode."

Just when you thought you had mastered the entire map selection of Black Ops 2 we're treated by the guys at Treyarch to yet another delivery of DLC. If you are already an eagerly awaiting fan and/or owner of the game's Season Pass you already know what you'll be expecting in store. Uprising includes 4 new Multiplayer maps and another single Zombie stage. Unlike the previous DLC pack there isn't another weapon added to the Multiplayer but you'll soon forget the absence of it once you get started.
