Russell at El33tonline writes:
"The gameplay of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is a lot of fun and I started by playing on the highest difficulty level. I recommend this approach to everyone because it makes you think and behave more like a sniper - I enjoyed the realism of the shooting and this is most satisfying at this level. You have to concentrate on the wind and distance to your target to understand the affect that these will have on your bullet whilst it in flight, and you have to really work hard to ensure the perfect shot."

NZGamer: "Its a strange thing as there is obviously a niche market for sniper-only titles, judging by the number of games out there. But it is exactly that; a niche market. Ghost Warrior 2 falls into the trap of trying to be accessible to a wide audience - however the end result is casual and veteran gamers will feel ultimately let down by a complete lack of freedom and unoriginal gameplay."

Daav from NoobFeed.com rustles through the foliage and hides behind the crumbling walls of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. What sounds like a good idea, in reality is a painfully dull missed opportunity, both linear and stripped of imagination. It has brief heights, but a ton more lows and the multiplayer is preposterous.
