The Wolf Among Us Preview - PlayStationer

At times I felt the story was over the top with how dark it went, expect prostitutes, strippers, drugs and murders, but then this is already a long running series that must already deal with these themes. Overall I think The Wolf Among Us is an interesting game so far and look forward to the final two episodes. In the meantime Ive ordered the first book in the comic series which I plan to read before the release of episode four.

| How We Made The Last of Us's Interface Work So Well

Alexandria Neonakis- "When I started at Naughty Dog in November of 2012, the studio never had a dedicated UI (user interface) designer or artist before. There were eight months left in development of The Last of Us and while some of the UI elements had already been roughed out, an overall design of the HUD (heads up display) had not been established, and many things were still undecided.
It became my responsibility to figure out the flow of our HUD and menu systems; to work with the programmers and game designers to implement, test and iterate; and finally to skin everything to make sure it fit the established aesthetic of the game."

| Guild of Dungeoneering Is an Interesting Idea That Needs Work | Hardcore Gamer
Added: 05.05.2014 22:14 | 3 views | 0 comments
There have been a lot of interesting new takes on the Roguelike genre lately. FTL put you in command of an enterprise-esque starship. Eldritch combined Bioshock-style combat with Minecraft's voxel-based randomness. The upcoming Crypt of the Necrodancer adds an extra D (for dungeon-crawling) to DDR. Billing itself as a "reverse-roguelike," Guild of Dungeoneering (which is currently up on Steam Greenlight) has similar ambitions. Unfortunately, whether or not in can achieve them remains to be seen.
