Could Metal Gear Solid V Beat Fallout 4 For That Elusive 2015 Game Of The Year Spot?
Added: 02.09.2015 11:18 | 11 views | 0 comments
ThisGenGaming says "The Game Awards will be coming later this year, and even though it may seem like its not that far away, theres still a chance for a new release to become Game of the Year. Hypothetically, lets say that this year narrows down the nominees to Metal Gear Solid V and Fallout 4. Between the two, which would come out victorious to hold the title as game of the year? Many people immediately would shut down MGS V as a competitor. However, MGS V has a lot of features that might be able to just barely push over the hype for Fallout 4."

| One Year Later: Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney

NWR:
Presenting a new feature we hope you don't have any objections to.
They said it would never happen, and then they said it would never release outside of Japan. When Level 5 and Capcom announced they were teaming up for Professor Layton x Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, the immediate speculation was it wasnt going to come west following the disappointing sales of Ace Attorney Investigations and its sequel not even being localized. Also, there is the complication of having Nintendo as the publisher of the western Professor Layton games. Thankfully, the deals were signed and the game released in North America on August 29, 2014.

| Dishonored: Definitive Edition still nimble, just a little slower | GamingTrend Review

GamingTrend:
Dishonored was one of those games that caught us off guard. The sleek and obtuse retro-future steampunk/gaslamp aesthetic created a world that captured more than a few Game of the Year nominations, including our own. With incredible and varied gameplay, it was only a matter of time before Arkane and Bethesda hammered out a sequel. Well, before we get to that freshly-announced second installment, we also have an opportunity to check out Dishonored on current-gen platforms courtesy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition.

Metro:
With a sequel due next year first person hit Dishonored comes to Xbox One and PS4 for the first time, but what, if anything, has changed?
The phrase Game of the Year Edition is a great marketing term. Not only does it suggest a high value package, while being as non-specific as possible about the contents, but it almost sounds like an officially-authorised title something bestowed upon it by some external judge of quality. But it is of course nothing of the sort. The term is as malleable and meaningless as a publisher wants it to be, just like Ultimate Edition and Definitive Edition. But then Dishonored: Imperceptibly Better Edition probably wouldnt sell as much.
