Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast Furious review | MMGN

Added: 01.04.2015 7:18 | 1 views | 0 comments

Ben Salter of MMGN: I had a lot of fun playing Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast Furious, because I was returning to the world of Horizon 2 and forgot how much I enjoyed it, not because of the game itself. Its great as a free demo, and if youve got the quota to spare, Id highly recommend it to casual arcade racing fans unlikely to buy the full game theres probably enough here to get your fix. With it all repurposed content, however, its pointless for existing Forza Horizon 2 players, unless you want the Gamerscore or to try the specific cars. Youve already got access to all of this, and much more, in a better package. Fast Furious fans hoping for a fun movie tie-in with the pedigree of Forza will be most disappointed. As a Horizon 2 demo with Furious 7 themed cars, its great. But as a licensed game, its pretty poor, with little to do with Fast Furious and nothing in the way of new content. Depending on when you download, its either a fun free demo, or a disappointing...

Experienced Points: So Who Is DRM For Anyway?

Added: 01.04.2015 0:18 | 2 views | 0 comments

Shamus Young Battlefield Hardline DRM So the news last week was that Battlefield: Hardline has DRM that locked players out of their game while they were trying to do hardware benchmarks and swapping out graphics cards. It's an old, largely discredited and greatly maligned form of DRM that most other publishers - even DRM-obsessed Ubisoft - stopped using a few years ago. But here is EA, still using it and acting like the last 10 years of DRM-driven PR disasters and financial waste hasn't happened.

This is the action-adventure youve been waiting decades for. You play the role of a scientist who seemingly perishes in an accident, only to awaken in a mysterious, alien world. Is this a distant planet? The far future? Or a complex virtual-reality computer simulation? Plumb the recesses of a large, labyrinthine world in order to learn what it is and why you are here. Discover tons of weapons, items, and abilities, each with their own unique behaviors and usage. Youll need your wits to find them all. Combat bizarre biomechanoid constructs, the deadly fallout of an ancient war, and the demons of your own psyche. And finally, break the game itself by using glitches to corrupt foes and solve puzzles in the environment.

Going Rogue In The Aptly Titled Roguelands

Added: 31.03.2015 20:18 | 14 views | 0 comments

Marcus Estrada writes: "It's really cool to see developers who are now on their third or fourth Kickstarter campaigns after having previous successes. Sean Young is one of these people. After crowdfunding his previous projects (Pixel Kingdom and Magicite) he has now returned with Roguelands, the latest and most ambitious game yet. As the name might suggest, it also features a good deal of roguelike features, although there's a lot of other inspirations at play too. Players, either alone or with a group of other players, explore procedurally generated planets in search of resources. Of course, each planet is full of danger - not to mention a monstrous creature known as the Destroyer which is always hot on your trail."

Game Review: Bloodborne | Starburst Magazine

Added: 30.03.2015 6:18 | 6 views | 0 comments

Right off of the bat you can tell that Bloodborne is a Hidetaka Miyazaki creation, following in the vein of his work with the Dark Souls franchise. Youre a lone warrior inflicted by a plague, wandering across a lone city in search of a cure. Hounded by degenerates and monsters, devolved remnants of a better time, and risking losing your humanity. Second verse, same as the first. This said; it provides enough interesting twists to still truly stand out on its own.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Review | Gamegravy

GG: Youre probably sitting there wondering, Didnt this game come out in November? What took these bums so long to review it? Believe me I totally get it. I am honestly shocked at how long I ended up playing Dragon Age and to be honest I had a review ready to go in the middle of January but we decided that a game like this required more. I set about replaying the game from another angle so as to give you the reader an even better understanding of what Dragon Age has to offer. It was a labor of love, the biggest review Ive written for GameGravy, and the most time Ive put into a video game in over a decade save for maybe Skyrim. I hope you enjoy the review and pick up the game especially since EA will be unveiling some DLC soon.
