This doesn't really have anything to do with the 3DS but I think it's worth taking a moment to breath-in the glory of this Zelda-themed SNES by Zoki64, a Slovenian console artist. There's a video after the break. Don't bother trying to contain your drool. It's hopeless.
A pair of artists have painted the above mural to promote The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. It's located at World 8 Game store in Los Angeles (map here) and there's more photos after the break. (via nintendoeverything.com)
A few days ago, I shared the above image that seemed to be a Luigi-themed Nintendo 2DS. But as it turns out, it's not real. It's actually a fan-made mod from Matthew Wiggins of Rose Colored Gaming. You can see the the reveal after the break.
There's a lot of great games for the 3DS at the moment but if you're looking for something affordable, Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy might be for you. It's a rhythm game with a score of 78/100 on Metacritic that's on sale. You can click here to find it on Amazon for just $17.99.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is available on the eShop in Europe and the folks at Nintendo Life have a lot of nice things to say about it. Nintendo shared an introduction to the Nintendo 2DS and now Kotaku has released a video that compares the 2DS against the 3DS. You probably know the differences but this could be useful for more casual audiences as we head into Christmas. I'm sure plenty of parents will need help, for instance.
According to this NeoGAF user, the previously confirmed patch for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y is now available via the eShop. These are the patch notes: This update fixes a bug related to resuming your game after saving game data in Luminose City. It also improves the filtering feature within the Global Trade Station (GTS).
