Nintendo has confirmed that Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will support StreetPass and SpotPass. There's no specific details about how the features will be used, but I'm sure there's plenty of interesting possibilities for an RPG. As could have been expected, the games will also be available as a digital download via the eShop when [...]
One Piece: Unlimited World Red is coming to the 3DS, and Namco Bandai has launched the official website for the game. You can find it here, but it's a little bare for the moment. I imagine it'll fill up before long though. (via nintendoeverything.com)
Warner Bros. has shared the box art for Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure. It's coming to 3DS, Wii U, and PC, and there's a higher-resolution version of the art after the break.
We're on the verge of what we excitedly wait for each year: Nintendo's announcements from E3. They might not be having a traditional, major press conference like previous years, but they are hosting a Nintendo Direct broadcast for us to watch. You can visit e3.nintendo.com to check it out when it starts three hours from [...]
To wet the appetite of hype-loving gamers, Nintendo has shared this photo of their booth at E3 2013. I'm sure many wonders lie behind the curtains. We've reached the final stretch though. Not much longer to go.
We are so, so close to E3 2013, and as per usual, I decided to share some predictions that, based on my track record, will probably be hilariously wrong. The above video contains my 3DS predictions, while there's Wii U predictions after the break. Feel free to share your own predictions in the comments.
You're probably too busy playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf to bother watching me blab on about how it's been released, but whatever. I will continue to blab. It's just what I do. The stories mentioned in this video: Animal Crossing: New Leaf is now available on the eShop in North America Reggie, Miyamoto, and Iwata [...]
Here we see what they never show on cameras: the fierce, physical rivalry between Reggie Fils-Aime and Geoff Keighley. If you look closely enough during the upcoming interview between these two men, you'll surely see bruises and blood beneath thick layers of make-up. Fact. (And obviously, saying "Fact" makes it true. It's impossible to lie [...]
Hulu was confirmed for the 3DS a long while ago, but we've heard nothing about it since. And while it's no great revelation, Emily Rogers has shared via Twitter that it's apparently set for release during this year. It's hard to get crazy-excited since it's taken so long, so this instead deserves a "Finally!" I [...]
As previously revealed, One Piece: Romance Dawn is coming to the 3DS (having originally been released for the PSP), and the box art can be seen above. There's also a higher-resolution version after the break.
We're just a couple days away from E3 and hype levels are ramping up. As promised, lots of videos are still on their way (so don't forget about the previous one), and I'll be working no another one very soon. The stories mentioned in this video: A trailer for Smash Bros. to be shown at [...]
If you've been anticipating the game, you probably already know this, but: Animal Crossing: New Leaf is now available on the eShop in North America. It's also available in stores today, of course, but depending on where you live, the stores might not be open yet. For a game that can be play all year [...]
Matt Bozon of WayForward has confirmed that the company is working on a new Mighty game (with Mighty Switch Force being released a while ago, and Mighty Switch Force 2 coming out in a few days). This new game, however, "will not be a sequel". Assumably, that means new gameplay elements, or at least some [...]
Nintendo has shared a new fact sheet for Flipnote Studio 3D. The application itself is coming to Japan in July, North America in early August, and Europe on August 1st. Flipnote Studio 3D is a free application, scheduled for release on August 1st 2013, along with two whole new communities – Flipnote
Spike TV has shared their E3 2013 schedule for the television channel and the live stream via GameTrailers, which includes an interview with both Reggie Fils-Aime and Shigeru Miyamoto at 2pm EST on June 11th. This is the full description: It's the interview you've been waiting all E3 (well let's be honest, ALL YEAR!) to [...]
Nintendo has launched a promotion in Australia that allows new 3DS owners to get a free first-party game via the eShop if they pick up the handheld between June 20th and July 31st. Simply buy the console, register it via Club Nintendo, and you will be able to download one of these games for the [...]
As confirmed by Takashi Iizuka, the producer of Sonic: Lost World, the 3DS version of the game is being worked on by Dimps. These are the folks who have worked on handheld variants of Sonic titles in the past, so they're at least experienced. What's teresting though is that the 3DS version will feature [...]
...and they're hanging out with Luigi. That is all. (Not really sure what else I can say. Feel free to just continue hyping yourself up for E3. We're only a few days away. Woo.)
As promised, lots of videos are coming in June, and this one happens to be the start of the flood. Especially once E3 rolls around, there's going to plenty of my lovely mug to look at. Lucky you. The stories mentioned in this video: Rumor: YouTube app coming to 3DS? Welcome to E3 2013, says [...]
According to a rumour from Emily Rogers, a YouTube application might be coming to the 3DS. Since this'd make the 3DS the simplest way to watch 3D videos from YouTube, I'll be clinging to the hope that it's true. I'm sure we'll know definitively before the end of E3 2013.
