To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Mega Man franchise, Capcom has designed a case (shown above, with more photos after the break) for both the 3DS and the 3DS XL. It looks gorgeous and will be available later this year through their online store. Who plans to pick it up? (via tinycartridge.com)
Fast & Furious: Showdown is coming to the 3DS. It doesn't look that good. The end. (Okay, and there's screenshots after the break, but I'm still setting my hopes for this game quite low).
Originally, Shin'en's Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai was supposed to arrive on the 3DS in the first quarter of 2013. The company has since confirmed, however, that the game is now set for release in the third quarter of this year. Luckily, this is for good reasons though, as the game will now [...]
You can check after the break for an extensive video preview of all the modes in Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move for the 3DS. It's a twenty-minute video, so perhaps brew some tea, kick back, and enjoy.
Starting on the 15th of May, another design for the 3DS XL is coming to Japan. It'll be themed around Eevee (the Pokémon, for folks whose brains aren't operating at their maximum capacity at this present moment), and will only be available via a raffle through the Pokémon Centre stores. (And to be clear, you [...]
Capcom has released a new trailer for Ace Attorney 5 that can be found after the break. You can also find some general footage from the game. Trailer: Footage:
A while ago, I believe there were rumours of Monster Hunter coming to the PlayStation Vita. Just in case you were wondering if you should wait for that version though, wonder no more: it's not happening. Capcom shared on their forums that "no plans for a PSVita Monster Hunter at the moment". Of course, "at [...]
You know how Nintendo always hosts a big press conference on the first day of E3? Similar to one that Sony hosts shortly after, and also like the one Microsoft hosts the day before? Well, for this year at least, that's not happening. NIntendo has "decided not to host a large-scale presentation targeted at everyone [...]
Rising Star Games has confirmed that Beyblade: Evolution is coming to the 3DS. The game is obviously a Beyblade-focused title, and makes use of the gyro and motion sensors. There's multiplayer battles, along with a story mode, and the game itself will be available at some point in Fall 2013.
Nintendo has shared in a financial briefing that they are "planning to make available a system update for Nintendo 3DS to allow its users to view and post content on Miiverse on the system within this year". In the mean time, check out the web-based version on desktop computers and mobile devices. (via nintendolife.com)
According to a study conducted by McGill University, playing Tetris "may be a more effective way to treat lazy eye than existing practices". Here's what Dr Robert Hess, a member of the team, said on the matter: When we get the two eyes working together, we find the vision improves. It's much better than patching, [...]
Aqua Moto Racing 3D is a new version of Aqua Moto Racing (a game that was originally for the iPhone) that's coming to the 3DS. You can check out a trailer after the break.
Matt Bozon of WayForward has confirmed that the original Shantae game is coming to the Virtual Console at some point between the middle of June and early July. I'll share the more specific date once we have it.
Nintendo has confirmed that a completely-pink 3DS XL is coming to the United Kingdom on the 31st of May, 2013. Japan might get the coolest (and sheer volume) of colours and combinations, but at least the rest of the world hasn't been completely forgotten.
Curious to know all the finer points about Yoshi's Island on the 3DS? Check after the break for an analysis of the gameplay footage that we've seen so far.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is set to be released in Europe on the 17th of May, and folks from the region will be able to test it out beforehand via a demo that'll be released on the 25th of April. Obviously, it's probably worth a download.
You can find plenty of off-screen footage from the sequel to A Link to the Past on the 3DS after the break. The clips are short, but they're looking quite good.
At the moment, it's possible to pick up the Circle Pad Pro for the 3DS XL from Nintendo's online store. In case you were hoping to pick it up in store though, keep hoping, since Nintendo has said that "There are no plans to sell this accessory at other retail locations at this time". But [...]
