A few days ago, The Pokémon Company started teasing that "big" news for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y was set to be shared on Saturday, and they've since sent out a reminder on Twitter. The reminder itself was sent out 15 hours ago and said the news was coming "tomorrow". Therefore, it shouldn't be long [...]
We've known for a while that Project X Zone (a collaboration between SEGA, Namco Bandai, and Capcom) was set for release outside of Japan, and Namco Bandai has finally confirmed that the game is set for release in North America on the 25th of June. There's no release date for Europe as of yet though.
Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is a gorgeous-looking RPG for the 3DS that received considerable praise when it was released in Japan, and Siliconera had started reporting that they've "confirmed" that the game's coming to North America and Europe. This should be regarded as a rumour, but it's certainly promising.
Richard George of IGN has revealed that Nintendo plans to host a 3DS-related event in a couple of weeks. The event itself will last "all day", although that's all we know about it. Hopefully there's a bunch of stuff worthy of our attention. (But of course, no matter what happens at the event, we'll lap [...]
A press release from Nintendo has confirmed that Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D features the local co-op mode of the original game, along with "brand new content" that's exclusive to the 3DS. We're not what that content is, but fingers crossed there's some notable additions. (Either way though, the presence of Donkey Kong is always [...]
There's no official word yet, but apparently, the above image shows a new form of Mewtwo that's set to appear in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. We're expecting big news relating to the games, so perhaps this is it? (Or part of it?) Just remember though: this is a rumour. Don't go believing anything until [...]
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked has launched in Europe, but if you haven't picked up the game yet, you might want to hold off for a little while longer. The developers have confirmed that the game "has some issues", which are then explained: The game will hang/freeze if you summon a demon during battle [...]
The 3DS XL has taken the number-one spot in terms of sales in Japan for this past week, and the regular 3DS has taken the number-three spot (with the Vita in between them). Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon has also spent another week as the best-selling game in the region. You can check out the complete [...]
To celebrate the two-year anniversary of the 3DS (which happened last week), Nintendo has shared an infographic showing the evolution of the handheld. The defined points of the evolution are completely self-promotional, of course, so there's no mention of the price drop, or the ambassador program, or anything that doesn't directly encourage sales...but either way, [...]
The above, Luigi's Mansion-themed comic is the latest addition to Penny Arcade. The joke itself might be fairly simple, but it still gave me a light chuckle.
Atlus has announced Shin Megami Tensei IV for the 3DS. The game will feature 3D dungeons and StreetPass functionality, along with "powerful new demons, expansive dungeons, epic story arcs with branching plot lines, game-altering decision making, and more". It's also set to be released in North America this summer, meaning it's a super short wait [...]
Nintendo shared more footage from Dillon's Rolling Western: The Last Ranger at a recent Nintendo Direct event, and also announced that the game would become available in Japan on the 10th of April for ¥2000.
Capcom has announced that Gaist Crusher is coming to the 3DS. If the name sounds unfamiliar, that's because this is a new IP that's aimed at boys under the age of twelve or so (although I'm sure there's some lee-way in that regard — point is, it's for children). The game itself is an action title, [...]
The Pokémon Company has shared that there is "big" news for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y coming next Saturday on the 6th of April. The same news was also teased via Pokémon Smash (video after the break). What do you think the news could be?
Official Nintendo Magazine has reviewed Devil Survivor Overclocked for the 3DS and said a lot of nice things about it, explaining that: There are elements we can't defend, such as the dated visuals, or the limited soundtrack, but taken as a whole, Devil Survivor Overclocked is a huge, ambitious game that works perfectly on its [...]
You can check after the break for an extended look at Monster Hunter 4. The entire video is in Japanese, but just scroll through the timeline and I'm sure you can find the stuff you can understand (aka, the gameplay).
There's more screenshots from Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers after the break. The game itself is set to be released during Spring 2013 in North America.
Once again confirming that Japan is the greatest place in the world, a series of colored docks for the 3DS XL have become available via Club Nintendo in the region. You can click here to see them on the official site, or check out the images after the break. (via tinycartridge.com)
