The new character, which will be Borderlands 2's sixth class, appears to be focused around brutal melee attacks.

Gearbox promises to divulge formation about the new character during its panel at PAX East, and will also reveal details on the long-awaited level cap increase.

So far Gearbox has released three expansions for the game: Captain Scarlett and Her Captain's Booty, Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, and Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt. , with an additional chunk of content still to be delivered.
