Future Gamez: The Atelier RPGs have been around on various Playstation consoles since 1997, but have only recently been released outside Japan. From what I can gather the games all feature a female protagonist who uses the power of alchemy to defeat any evil-doers and monsters the come across on their travels, and the same is true for Atelier Ayesha.
