Now with the release of Gran Turismo on the PS3, fans can see how far the series has come. In a market that has more than a fair share of racing games, GT6 makes its mark on the genre by keeping its driving mechanics as authentic as possible to the real world, but its biggest selling point quickly becomes its biggest deterrent as it takes away a lot of the escapism that racing games offer. Not only that, but the game itself has its fair share of problems that overall combine with its lack of spark and life, result in a game that just isnt very exciting for those outside of its niche demographic.
