Video game adaptations of the Alien franchise should all but create themselves. On one hand, you have Alien, a slow-burning masterpiece in psychological horror. On the other, you have the loud, action-oriented Aliens that helped to redefine summer blockbusters. Creepy atmosphere, big guns, nasty aliens, effective dialogue, wise-cracking characters, emotional understory. So what has been the problem?
