Assassins Creed Rogue is an anomaly in Ubisofts popular Assassins Creed franchise for multiple reasons. The first being the fact that the game is only available for last-generation consoles (Xbox 360 and Playstation 3), and PC. The game seems to be a swan song of sorts for Ubisofts support of those consoles with this particular franchise. Rogue may be overlooked by many as its released exclusively for consoles rendered obsolete by a new generation at the same time as Assassins Creed Unity, Ubisofts first next-gen exclusive title in the series.
