While clicking around Facebook looking for posts about amiibo to start a manifesto about the collectible add-on, I found something that changed the entire direction of this piece. In a Nintendo group I'm in, I found a post (which has since been taken down) about a 2-amiibo-for-$22 sale at Toys"R"Us, which considering that each figure normally retails for $14 plus tax, isn't all that bad of a deal.
