Bungie has always been rather good at backdrops in videogames: it's the architect of perhaps the most instantly recognisable skybox in console gaming, Halo's tapering, starlit strip of plains and oceans. That's more important than ever in Destiny, the developer's first post-Halo project, which sees players shuttling back and forth between the planets of our solar system. Being able to look up and see worlds you've already explored or will later explore is quietly mesmerising.
