Around 12 people let go as Tomb Raider dev "re-scopes" its unannounced new IP.
The redundancies have not affected the Tomb Raider development team, which is "well into production" on a PS4 and Xbox One sequel to March's Lara Croft reboot.
"We've made some decisions at Crystal Dynamics last week around the second project we're working on, which has resulted in a small number of roles (roughly 12) becoming redundant as we re-scope the project," Square Enix told Kotaku.
