Retro Vault: The lost Vikings

Back in February 1981, a trio of UCLA graduates in California set up a development studio called Silicon Synapse. One of their first games was The Lost Vikings, published by Interplay and released on a number of platforms (SNES, Mega Drive, Amiga, PC and then later GBA and PlayStation). Players controlled three Vikings, each with their own special abilities: Erik could run fast, jump and bash through walls; Baleog could kill enemies with a sword and bow, and Olaf could use his shield for protection and as a stepping stone for his friends.
