Since Super Smash Bros. first hit the scene over fifteen years ago, games have tried to clone what made it good. Some nail the gameplay, but dont have the roster. Others should have the pedigree and roster to make the formula work, but games like TMNT: Smash-Up show that you cant just do a paint-by-numbers Smash Bros. game. Sony tried to change things up with super moves in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, but nothing quite matched the addictive nature of Smash Bros Brawlhalla, however, comes the closest of anything yet even in beta form.
