Stuff - On a humid night, in a dark corner of an Auckland bar, I had the opportunity to play The Order: 1886. After playing for about 30 minutes, I can totally see why Sony is pushing this new game with such fervour. Tight shooting and sharp visuals underscore the beginnings of a strong franchise. The evening started with a brief gameplay segment presented by tech director Garret Foster and narrated by game director Dana Jan. They ran through the fictional elements that help differentiate it from other third-person shooters, namely the idea of creating a "believable reality" one where our history diverged, and was instead influenced by strange science and mythology.
