In their own games for sure theyve dabbled occasionally, but when it came to third parties the Japanese console maker rarely if ever extended their arms out openly to the oddball potential of digital-only bite-sized releases. However with the 3DS that trend is slowly beginning to change. The Starship Damrey is the perhaps the greatest example of that recent mentality shift; a game which would never sit pride and place on retail shelves, but its different enough to easily excuse its tiny £7.19 asking price via Nintendos eShop.
