One of the original launch titles for the first version of the Gear VR smartphone-based virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) was Herobound: First Steps from Oculus VR itself. The sample experience was a third-person dungeon crawling title that players could sample for free. It wasnt clear what would become of the videogame in the future. That is until this week, when Oculus VR has released a full sequel to the title in Herobound: Spirit Champion.
