Jason Clement of G4@SyfyGames writes: "Shapes of Gray is aptly named; it's one of those products where you could swear the name actually came about before the product itself was even realized due to its title being a clever pun. Additionally, it gets right to the heart of what it is, much like how Geometry Wars is about warring geometry. And just like that game, Shapes of Gray is a twin-stick arcade game where shapes are out to get you, except in this case it's more slasher than shooter. Secret Tunnel Entertainment is a new indie kid on the block, and for this title being their first rodeo, it's actually pretty nifty."
