Earlier today, reports began to crop up that GAME had canceled hundreds of pre-orders for the Limited Edition of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which caused a bit of a furore. However, in a statement released to Gamespot, GAME clarified the situation, stating that 370 pre-orders for the standard edition of the game had been incorrectly processed and charged as the Limited Edition, leading to cancelations.
